The Fitchburg Run for Remembrance will be back again in 2013! Our race date this year will be 10/6/2013 and will be held alongside the Fitchburg Fire Department Open House. Come join in the fun! Registration will be open soon!

 

 

 

Join the Fitchburg Fire Department for the Run for Remembrance 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Kid's Fun Run. This run has one of the most unique starting lines in the area.  Runners start under the tower of a Fitchburg Fire Department ladder truck. Held alongside the fire department's open house on 10/06, this event will raise money for the Fitchburg Fire Department Honor Guard.  Come for the run and stay for the fun!

Details:

Events: 5K Run/Walk and a FREE 1 Mile Kid's Fun Run

When: 10/6/2013. Run/Walk starts at 8:00 AM.  Free Kid's Mile at 9:00 AM.

Where: Fitchburg Fire Station 1, 5791 Lacy Rd, Fitchburg WI

Course:

The start and finish for all events will be at Fitchburg Fire Station 1 on Lacy Rd. The start will be held under the ladder of Fitchburg Ladder 1.

Aid Stations:

There will be one aid station with water available to both runners and walkers on the course.

Timing:

The 5K run will be chip timed by Race Day Events, LLC.  Walkers will be untimed.

Weather/Refund Policy:

This race will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, the race may be delayed or canceled. If the race is canceled there will be NO REFUNDS. Race Day Events and the Fitchburg Fire Department have a NO REFUND policy. There are no refunds for any reason.
